Ok, so the right tools can make all the difference. By tools I mean like a comb or brush. Now depending on if you want volume, or less volume will depend on how much space between bristles you have. If you use the wide tooth part of the comb, or a vent brush with a lot of space between the bristles then that will create volume. If you use the fine tooth side of the comb, or a round brush with a lot of bristles, or a boar bristle brush, you will get a more polished sleek look. Now you can still create volume with a round brush if it has many bristles. That all depends on how much you overdirect the hair from where it lays. If your hair lays back on top of your head, you would blowdry all the hair forward. These are just some basic all around good tips to help you look as fabulous at home, as you do when leaving the salon... Well lets hope you're looking fabulous when you leave the salon!
