Do you ever leave the salon looking amazing, only to find you can't achieve the same result at home? Did you maybe pass on the suggested products that your stylist recommended to you, thinking what you have at home will work fine? Kind of frustrating huh? Well I'm here to tell you that I want you to look as good as you do when you leave the salon everyday. After all, you're my walking billboard!  

No matter what type of hair type or style you have there are so many great products from Schwarzkopf that can help you achieve the professional look you want. The important thing to know, is when and how to use them. Your stylist has all of the information, and hopefully you found a stylist that will listen to what your desire outcome is, and give you the necessary tools, as well as products, you need to achieve just that. 

Heat styling can be brutal on the hair everyday without the proper protection. If you use heat styling on your hair whether it be blowdryer, flat iron or curling iron, you should ALWAYS use a product to protect your hair. Some of my favorites are Flatliner and Soft n Straight. 

Now for you curly girls or guys out there, you definitely want to be using a good product to control your mane! And if you have curly hair, you know what I'm talking about. I've used a lot of curly hair products out there on my clients, but that always seem to be too heavy and make the hair feel dirty and greasy and dull. Schwarzkopf has amazing products that leave the hair soft, frizz free and in control without the heavy residue. My favorite products are Twin Curl and Soft Loop. You can even mix them and use a diffuser to dry the hair without touching it, and you get flawless, soft curly hair. 

Welcome to my blog! Here I will attempt to create a blog with useful information in a very candid way. I definitely don't claim to know it all, but I have learned a few things on the way. 

I've been doing makeup since the early 90s. Back when the New York Club Kids were hitting the talk show circuit. You know the classics, Donahue, Sally Jesse Raphael, Ricky Lake..(what ever happened to Ricky?)  I was fascinated by their funky outlandish hair and makeup! 

I've always been artistic and love to create art. I self taught myself many tips and tricks over the years and then after working for MAC for 5 years my skills skyrocketed. After doing makeup for almost 20 years now, the best advice that I can give after all this time is HAVE FUN!

Yup thats it! Have fun! Makeup isn't supposed to be so serious and stressful like I know it is for many. If what you're doing comes out bad... wipe it off and start over. Practice makes perfect so be kind to yourself and don't be so serious! 


To me this is the core of any good artist, even if you don't think you are, we are all capable of creating something beautiful as long as you are having fun doing it.
